Hp printers are set to USA as a location in default. 

when setting up a new printer you need to make sure to change the location to Israel with a capital i

the reason is that the paper size in USA by default is Letter and in Israel is A4

also, when setting up a new printer in Mac you need to make sure to select the printer from the list of identified printers in system properties \printers and scanners\add a printer in the + icon

once selecting the printer, make sure the location is automatically changed to Israel (if not power down the printer, change it in the web page and start it again)

and also, change the use  option  to be the specific printer model (this is the driver in the mac os)

after setting it up, stand on the printer and make sure the location is Israel and the paper size is A4
